Third Jordanian workshop on Synchrotron Radiation Applications, the University of Jordan, Amman, April 25th, 2007

Objectives:

1- Develop the national staff and recruit highly qualified users to
    SESAME.
2- Develop, build and operate experimental stations for
     SESAME   users
3- Provide excellent scientific and technical support to SESAME
users, and share technical capabilities as well as scientific and
    technical skills.

Second Jordanian workshop on Synchrotron Radiation Applications, Applied Science University, Amman, September 10-12th, 2006

Objectives:

The main goal of this workshop was to probe possible research activities compatible with phase one beamlines. Eight external and four local experts in synchrotron light applications presented their contributions to the field. In particular, applications of state-of-the-art synchrotron radiation in medicine, physics, chemistry, biology, agriculture, industry, archaeology and material sciences… etc. are now better understood by the Jordanian scientific community

Establish the Jordanian Users Network for SESAME

First Jordanian workshop on Synchrotron Radiation Applications, the University of Jordan, Amman, May 10th, 2006
Objectives:

1- Providing the Jordanian scientific community with background
information about the benefits and applications of synchrotron
     radiation
2- Establish awareness of the community towards the
characteristics and specifications of phase one beamlines
3- Establishing a network of Jordanian users of Synchrotron light.
Develop a database of the users fields of interest in phase one
     beamlines and probe potential projects
